Summer 2008
The big trip
Months of planning has gone into this trip, and I haven't set one foot in a travel agent. Using the power of the internet, and Barclaycard, I researched, questioned, reserved, and booked a 10 week diving and photography trip around South East Asia.
Why here? Why not, I spent 2 months in Thailand a few years ago, and loved it. I wanted to go to other places, but prior commitments like work prevented this. Thanks to a very understanding employer, this time I have 10 weeks planned, I might only be visiting 4 countries, but the provinces I am taking in might as well be different countries.
13 flights, 7 weeks of diving, hotels etc. and all booked from the comfort of my dining table. All in the search for that perfect photo.

I will try to keep this website as up to date as possible while out there, but it's not a blog. Also, some of the places we are going, don't actually have much of a connection, so I will wait for civilisation to do some uploading.
